Impact of package travel regulations survey

15 Sep 2017

The Tourism Alliance is running a survey about the impact package travel regulations are having on the domestic tourism industry.
The Package travel regulations apply to businesses that sell products that combine two or more of transport, accommodation and "other tourism services" into a single product that is sold to a customer. Under the regulations, businesses that combine products are deemed to be selling "package travel" and are subject to a range of requirements aimed at protecting the rights of customers.
This five-minute Package Travel Directive Survey seeks to determine what impact, if any, package travel regulations are having on the domestic tourism industry and whether removing the regulations from value-added products would boost this sector.
This survey is aimed at those running businesses in the tourism sector and can be accessed here.
