Chinese looking to invest in UK SMEs
30 Apr 2018
This summer, thirty Chinese entrepreneurs will visit the UK as part of a drive to seek investment tie-ups with high-growth companies looking to expand into one of the world’s largest and most populated countries.
On 19 June, British businesses will be given the opportunity to pitch to the Chinese investors at a London summit. The drive, which is the second of its kind, further indicates that Brexit is not seen as a concern for the Chinese investors.
Ollie Shiell, senior partner at Asiability, organisers of the summit with the Hurun Report, says: “There is real intent in finding good partners and opportunities in Europe.
“The entrepreneurs are looking for medium-sized businesses that are looking for Chinese capital or access to the Chinese market. They also want to see exceptional small enterprises with a global vision.”
Through our joint venture with Anglo Sino Consultancy LLP, Beavis Morgan is able to identify business opportunities for Chinese investors looking to enter the UK market. And we can provide a comprehensive range of professional services to help you make the most of your investment in the UK.
